A lively natural Spanish white wine from the renowned Rioja region.
Gran Cerdo Blanco is a light-bodied, dry white with a pale straw colour and aromas of green apple, pear, peach, and lemon zest, complemented by subtle floral notes. On the palate, it’s crisp and zesty, with a clean, mineral snap that keeps the wine lively and refreshing. Silky texture and bright acidity give it a balanced, moreish finish. Made from Viura and other white varieties, this natural white is both fun and easy, a perfect example of organic winemaking at its most accessible.

Gonzalo Grijalba is a passionate natural winemaker from Rioja who abandoned industrial farming to focus on organic and biodynamic methods. Gran Cerdo, meaning “Big Pig,” is named in a cheeky nod to bankers who refused to fund his dream. His vineyards are cultivated without pesticides or herbicides, letting the grapes express their true character.
How it’s made:
- Varieties: 80% Viura, 20% other white grapes including Grüner Veltliner and Riesling
- Hand-harvested to preserve freshness and integrity
- Gentle pressing to extract pure juice
- Wild fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel
- Bottled unfiltered and unfined, with minimal sulphur, preserving natural vibrancy

Storage Information
We advise all boxes and platters to be stored in a cool place - your allergy label state if we advise keeping your item in the fridge. Food which has been displayed for less than two hours can be put back in the fridge and kept at 8°C or below and used within 24 hours. If it has been out for more than two hours it must be thrown away.
